What's your business, and who are your customers?

Diane's Dairy specializes in homemade ice cream that is made in-house. We differentiate ourselves by creating customized ice cream cakes and novelties.

Tell us about yourself

I have been a cake decorator for over twenty years and making ice cream for over ten years. I thought it was time for me to open my own store to create my own ice cream and cakes.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I think opening my own business is a big accomplishment and also hearing from my customers how much they enjoy my ice cream and love my cake designs.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Opening a business during the pandemic was a scary undertaking but having help from my family was amazing!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

I would tell people that if you want to open up your own business, you should do it! It is so rewarding to see a happy and smiling face each day; it makes it all worth it.
