What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm an Executive & Leadership Coach, keynote speaker, and workshop facilitator. My primary role as a coach is to help business executives & senior leaders thrive and maximize their influence so they boost their on-the-job performance and drive results, as well as develop resilient team relationships. When I work with organizations or speak, I focus on team-building, inclusion, and leadership development.
Tell us about yourself
I wanted to see people thrive at home and at work and contribute to creating healthy, inclusive communities. I saw my role as a trainer and coach directly related to doing just that.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My greatest accomplishments include seeing people I mentor and coach in action when they work, present, and coach their teams. I know that their success is a direct correlation to the work we do together.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Scaling the business and doing it all on my own is a great challenge. That's why I've hired a VA to help out with some of the daily admin tasks but still, being the marketer, the developer, the website manager, the front-end contact, the content creator, the manager, the one who creates and delivers the products and solutions can be overwhelming.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
You don't have to do it or be the only one on your team. Invest in good help and stay focused on your vision, build a system where you see incremental progress, and celebrate even the smallest wins.
