My business is dannyavershal.com, and my customers are marketing agencies and publications that pay me for my written content and marketing services.

Tell us about yourself

I started building my content marketing business in January of last year. While I started out mostly blog writing, I've since evolved to mostly ghostwriting and writing for social media or advertisements.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been being able to scale my income from $100 to $2000 a month in under a year.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Constantly facing rejection from prospective clients, being left hanging when people don't respond.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Focus on a niche, and get ready to hear "no" a lot. Rejection isn't always personal. Sometimes it really is between you and someone else that is also very qualified. Don't let it stop you from trying.
