What's your business, and who are your customers?

We provide body armor solutions for everyday life. Our customers are commuters, students, teachers, and first responders. Anyone who is moving through a crowd and other potential active shooter targets or areas of gun violence.

Tell us about yourself

I started this business to protect my family. Every time there's an active shooter event. My friend's daughter was a freshman at Stoneman- Douglas, and I think about that often.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Developing a unique product that people use to live a little safer lives.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Nothing is going as planned. Being so attached to your business that you ride every wave daily.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. If you can make $1, you can make $2.
  2. If you can't explain it in 3 minutes, no one will want it.
  3. If you can do one and two, don't quit. Beg and borrow to keep it alive.
  4. Nothing goes as planned. Ever.
