What's your business, and who are your customers?
I offer reiki sessions, including self-discovery, meditation, reiki sessions, and sound baths. I will incorporate other methods depending on your unique situation during the 2-hour session. I also offer a 3-month program that cuts through the noise of what you should be doing to find certainty. In 3 months, you will find your calling and learn methods of how to stay aligned. Most people that come to see me want a career change; I developed a workshop in the corporate setting back in 2011. I transformed it to incorporate elements from I/O psychology and reiki modalities into the workshop, allowing people to work through their objections and limiting beliefs and find their calling.
Tell us about yourself
I tailor each session to the individual's journey and needs; it is not a one-size-fits-all. I use my training and expertise in psychology, corporate, and reiki to personalize each session. I have a Master's in Psychology (specializing in I/O), over 20 years of experience as an executive in the corporate world, and I am a trained Reiki Master.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Empowering people with techniques that will allow them to create and come home to themselves.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I think keeping the momentum going is tough at times. Sometimes it feels like I need to work endlessly.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get started with what you have; for example, when I started, I took clients in my home and got the momentum going before renting out a space and filing an LLC. It's important to experiment first to see what works.
- Talk about your product or service, and tell your story.
- Focus on your passion because when you focus on your passion, it energizes you and vice versa, giving you more fuel to put towards success.
