What's your business, and who are your customers?
Crown Bound Pageant Consulting provides full-service pageant coaching for all pageant types and systems. My clients are young ladies from the ages of 12 and up who are looking to build confidence and further their careers in whatever path they choose.
Tell us about yourself
I am passionate about pageantry because I have personally benefited from all that it has to offer. Not to mention I believe pageant coaching is one of the most valuable self-development training to invest in. My goal is to help other women become the best versions of themselves without changing who they are at heart.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was transitioning to doing what I love full-time. Q1 2022, I left my full-time job as a business advisor at a well-known software company to go full-time with Crown Bound.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
So many things! Lol, If I had to choose one, I would choose to balance full-time entrepreneurship with motherhood. Considering I am half a stay-at-home mom and half work-from-home, it is tough trying to get everything done. I feel like there is not enough time in the day!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Hire an Intern! - Help is so good!
- Have your paperwork and financials in place.
- Grow with the times. - Raising brand awareness requires you to roll with the changes in technology and the way people do business. Don't be afraid to try new things.
