Cristal Cosmetics is a beauty brand whose initiative is to provide high-quality products at an affordable price. Our customers have a passion for artistry & range from novice everyday users to experienced professional makeup artists.
Tell us about yourself
My parents are my daily motivation. They are a constant reminder of the sacrifices they endured so we could live the American dream. The tenacity that was instilled in me as a little girl pushes me forward each & every day. I started my business to leave a legacy of inspiration & to let future generations of entrepreneurs know that anything is possible with hard work & determination.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
One of the biggest accomplishments I have experienced is building a brand that our customers know, love & trust.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Business owners must be able to manage their own emotions and stay motivated in the face of setbacks and challenges. Building a successful business takes time, effort, and resilience, and entrepreneurs must be able to stay focused on their goals even when the going gets tough.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Always be authentic with yourself & most importantly, with your consumers. Forget about the noise of the world and let your customers into your business; show them how you pour your heart into your brand.
- Start with a solid plan & focus on building a strong team. As a business owner, it is extremely hard to do everything alone. Building a team with a like-minded work ethic will improve the overall efficiency of your business.
- Continuously adapt & innovate. The consumer world is constantly changing; as an entrepreneur, you must always be able to adapt to new challenges & take new opportunities as they come.
