What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is creativity and self-expression for the purposes of navigating change and/or speaking about your business.

Tell us about yourself

What got me started is a love of creativity and a desire to understand how to support creativity in others, even if they were not artists. I had to learn about creativity as a mindset and process that does not necessarily mean doing some sort of art. What motivates me each day is holding space for fun and authentic self-expression. I love to see a sparkle in another's eyes because something within has shifted, and there is a sense of freedom and empowerment.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I am very proud of the classes I have developed (Evolutionary Improv and The Creative CORE), and they have helped other business owners tell their stories more authentically from the stage and also how they help women wind down and reset from the go go go of a full life.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Deciding on and sticking to social media and email contact/content generation.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Plan on it not being as straightforward as some coaches would have you think.
  2. Give yourself time to evolve as you discover what works.
  3. Have a budget for help.
