What's your business, and who are your customers?
My line of products is all-natural. My candles and body lotion are made from all organic products. We pride ourselves on what we put in and on our bodies, even when it comes to the energy that we release into our home with our candles!
Tell us about yourself
I decided to start my own business while I was going through cancer treatment. Chemotherapy and the various other drugs that I was given to help cure cancer caused all kinds of side effects. I made a choice that I wanted to start researching and developing my own line of organic products that to help bring awareness to the ingredients that are in the food that we eat, the products that we put in and on our bodies, and how those products affect our health.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is being able to share the love that I put into my products with other people. Every day I learn how to protect my products and come up with new products to help build my brand.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me would be opening up myself to being able to let go of my shyness to promote my business on social media.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Don't be afraid to start something new; it doesn't matter if you're doing something different or the same thing as someone else; put your own spin on it and do it. You can't have faith and fear, step out on faith; you can't fail. Passion makes sure that whatever you decide to do, you have the passion for it. That passion will help produce something that people will want to buy.
