What's your business, and who are your customers?

Tell us about yourself
My journey started when I was 9 years old, as someone being ostracized for helping those who do not look or act like the average "normal" person. At that moment, I knew that my role was to be a friend to the friendless, to help those who were considered different physically, mentally, and academically, even if that meant I had to walk alone. As a child, I would always "play school." I would pretend that I was the teacher. Excelling in academics enabled me to escape my reality that I did not fit in with the popular kids who wore the latest fashions and who were socially accepted by my peers. By the time I am in high school, I am battling low self-esteem and asking about my purpose and why I don't measure up to everyone else's standard of success. As an adult, I realized I could not fit into everyone else's mold of who they thought I should be because I was set apart for a specific plan and purpose. Today, I am helping students achieve higher scores on state standardized tests, helping others see value in themselves through inspiration and encouragement, leading workshops and trainings, mentoring other teachers and students, pursuing another Master's Degree (in Education and Leadership), and the founder and owner of Creative Learning Service, LLC.
