What's your business, and who are your customers?
Author. Speaker. Women's Wellness & Growth Coach. I spend my time with women, typically 40+, who are facing a variety of life transitions as well as physical changes and challenges with weight and wellness. I am a twice-certified Life Coach, Mediator, Bible study teacher, and Conference speaker, and I love helping women recognize the opportunities for growth in stormy seasons.
Tell us about yourself
I have walked through some very painful storms in my life and discovered faith, hope, growth, and the opportunity to help others find joy, peace, and purpose in their own stormy seasons.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Sharing my story! Publishing my book has opened many doors for coaching, writing, and speaking to others who need hope, encouragement, and direction. I am grateful!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Trusting the process of perseverance with patience while navigating what is most important to you, keeping your eye on your why, and building your effort around that. Realize and remember that the small moments - being a catalyst for change in someone's life - are the most impactful.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start a business about which you can be genuinely passionate, and others will be drawn to you. You cannot give away what you don't possess.
- People do business with people they trust. Be honest. Care about each potential client and speak to their need with a relevant solution.
- Ask powerful questions, and then...listen. Really listen. People long to be heard, and it's nearly a lost art today. If you master the art of listening, you will stand out.

Favorite quote: Before you can inspire with emotion, you must be swamped with it yourself. Before you can move their tears, your own must flow. To convince them, you must, yourself, believe.
