Veteran Owned and Operated Spice Company - Corspice
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food production but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with William Domenz, Founder of Corspice, located in Mesa, AZ, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are Corspice, a veteran-owned premium spice company.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Bill Domenz. I am a Marine Corps veteran and owner of Corspice premium spices. We are an all-natural spice company with no added preservatives, sugar, and low sodium. Corspice is a sustainable spice company that aims to provide one service dog to a veteran two times a year.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being a marine and having been diagnosed with PTSD, I knew the need to help other service members. With Corspice, we decided to do just that. We give a percentage back with every bottle sold to supply a marine with a service dog. Last year we wanted to do more, so we created a hot sauce that gives $4 back with every bottle sold. Along with that, we do two fundraisers a year. This year we were able to supply two veterans with PTSD with a service dog and financial support for the life of the dog.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Keeping Momentum.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Keep reaching for greatness. Don't stop.
