Corrective Exercise Specialist - Correct Fitness
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and fitness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Steven Christner, owner of Correct Fitness LLC., located in Fort Worth, TX, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
My company is called Correct Fitness, and our goal is to help people not only accomplish their goals but do it the safe and correct way. I opened this company to help people get rid of pain and prevent injuries in any type of training.
Tell us about yourself
When I left the Army, I could barely walk, and some days couldn't due to injuries I sustained during my time in Iraq. After getting little relief from doctors, physical therapists, and many other types of therapy, I began to study. Studying Corrective Exercise allowed me to fix myself when knowing one else could and allowed me to stay away from surgery. This caused me to what to help other people in need like myself. Now we strive to help anyone trying to accomplish any goal they have been struggling with.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is touching people's lives and giving them the relief that they have not been able to find. Some of the people I have been able to help had spent anywhere from 5-20 years trying to get relief or hit a goal that seemed unattainable to them by the time we met. Getting them to accomplish their goals and get their relief for me is our biggest accomplishment.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing as a business owner is getting out in front of the right people. Keeping business consistent has been very tough, especially after COVID hit.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Three tips that I would give someone looking to start their business are to have a plan for every aspect of their business, be persistent, and never quit. It takes time and a lot of effort to run a business. You have to be ready to apply yourself fully and push through the hard times.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
We are looking to make a big impact across the world as we grow. We would love all of your support to help us make this dream come true.
