What's your business, and who are your customers?

Compassionate Helpers is a home health care agency that helps enhance the quality of life. The services we provide are personal care, companion care, physical therapy, nursing services, and 24/7 around-the-clock care in the comfort of the client's home.

Tell us about yourself

I am a serial entrepreneur born in the City of Detroit, MI. I was handpicked by A-list celebrity judges, and Square awarded me the 2021 Forbes Next 1000 Honoree. The list of the upcoming stars showcases ambitious sole proprietors, self-funded shops, and pre-revenue startups under 10 million. A-list Judges include Ayesha Curry, Reid Hoffman, Alex Rodriguez, Russell & Ciara Wilson, etc. As a young teen, I began to take action in my community by volunteering for non-profit organizations. When her grandmother was diagnosed with heart disease, I couldn't find an agency that would accept low-income seniors. I sought to change this by using my foundational healthcare experience and background in nursing. I established a family-owned business and became the number one affordable source for senior services.

Compassionate Helpers was born. Serving all ages no matter the situation providing 24/7 long-term or short-term around-the-clock care. Compassionate Helpers provide care for employees (work injuries ), auto accident clients, elderly, young adults, children, mentally challenged, physically disabled, etc. My daily motivation is my family and being able to help seniors with the best care.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is starting the Compassionate Helpers Franchise. Creating franchise opportunities for other entrepreneurs to be able to turn their passion into profits. Franchising Compassionate Helpers allow us to provide affordable and reliable home care service nationwide. Compassionate Helpers has 14 locations around the US. I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Healthcare Management, and Doctorates Degree in Clinical Nutrition.

The top three tips I will give a person are to be consistent, be passionate and put 200% into growing your business.

Do not make excuses; find a solution to every problem then you will become successful.
