Create the Life You Most Desire - Coach Talia
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Talia Pivovarova, Founder of Coach Talia, located in New York, NY, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a certified life and success coach. I offer transformational coaching services to women who are ready to unlock their potential and pursue their big dreams with confidence.
It takes intention and courage to build the life you most desire, and you can't do it without actively figuring out who you are. My signature Success Mindset Coaching program is designed to give women tools to align their life with the expression of their true selves.
I also work with a cutting-edge method called Neurographica®. It is a creative coaching service of working with the subconscious mind. By modeling your desired outcome on paper, following a special formula, and experiencing it as if it has already happened, your brain forms new neural pathways and learns how to make it your reality. With Neurographica®, you can use the laws of nature to accomplish your desires with ease.
Tell us about yourself
I always knew I wanted to help people, but I didn't know how. At 17, I went to a university to become a lawyer because I aspired to improve society and help people. I lived in my 20s feeling isolated as I moved to foreign countries, working 14h a day and trying to manage depression. At that time, it was hard to understand what was happening to me and why. Now I see how life's lessons were meant to open my heart and prepare me for my true work — sharing what I have learned with others in a meaningful way.
Through several years of self-discovery and transformational work, I found a new definition for living a TRUE SELF. Allowing myself to be vulnerable opened new horizons for me. It took courage to trust in what my heart wanted to do rather than what my mind said I ought to do. It helped me to understand my purpose.
In 2020, I decided to leave my successful corporate job as an attorney and become a certified life coach with a mission to inspire people to express their true selves. We all have the inner compass that guides us towards unlocking our true potential. I aspire to help people to connect with their own dreams and their inner compass so that together we can bring true positive change into the world.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Staying sane haha! What I mean by this is not running myself into burnout as I did at my corporate job. Instead, I was able to create a sustainable system that works for me. I believe it is important to find your own flow. It is not all about discipline and persistence; it is about finding your creative expression and rhythm.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Personally, it is to keep focus. There is so much to learn in my profession and business that sometimes it is hard to keep the focus on what truly is important at the moment. Always ask yourself what your priorities are now and what next action will bring you to the goal faster. One step at a time!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Work on mindset first, then business skills.
- Make mistakes and get ok with it.
- Find your support system – a community, a mentor, a coach.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Going solo was the best decision I've taken. It took me through another level of personal transformation and led me to live my dream life.
