What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am the founder of co5mosis, bridging the gap between you and your superconscious. I help healers, coaches, artists, and creatives put the power back in their hands.

Tell us about yourself

My name is Vanessa Viola, and I started my healing practice because I wanted everyone around me to experience the profound, energetically healing that I had experienced. Before Reiki found me, I was down on my knees, burnt out on life: in a meaningless career, a toxic and abusive relationship, and so sick of the anxiety and depression, I was oscillating between. After my Reiki healing sessions, I got clear on life, unleashed my hidden powers, and stepped powerfully into my truest potential. I see so much unnecessary suffering around me. I want everyone to feel free, to live a life they love, and experience the magic and joy of being alive. That is what motivates me each day to do what I do.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is transforming 100s of lives. I’ve held space for people who come to me feeling lost, confused, heartbroken, and beat down by some of the most traumatic experiences, and by the end of our journey together, they find their purpose, their joy, and become the predominant creative forces in their lives.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is doing most of the work on my own. Right now, I’m a very small company and have a small team around me. As I continue to grow, so will my team. So, perhaps a challenge I will come across is building a team that is in alignment with my company’s values.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You need to invest money to make money.
  2. Follow your calling, and the people will come.
  3. Hire a coach/mentor- someone who has been there, done that, and can teach you their ways!
