Tell us about yourself

After going to college for engineering and working in the mortgage banking business, I decided to take a chance to open my own business doing what I love. Every day I get to see and interact with my students and meet new and interesting people in the greatest city in the world.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been sharing the art of jiu-jitsu with so many people and being lucky enough to have a positive impact on their lives.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest part of being a business owner for me is dealing with problems that are out of my control and not of my cause.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Do something that excites you every day. Work with people who you enjoy being around, and have fun!
