What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a research and evaluation firm, and our customers are clients that want to make data-driven decisions and focus on continuous quality improvement. We help clients evaluate their programs, processes, and policies - with respect to their impact on expected outcomes.
Tell us about yourself
I started this business after stepping down from serving as the Dean of a School of Education and deciding to leave higher education. My training is in Educational Psychology, specializing in Statistics and Measurement. What motivates me each day is knowing that I can use my technical skills to help improve the lives of others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is helping others improve their processes, policies, and programs to help make their business more successful.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a small business owner is making sure the business brings in enough revenue to support expenses.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Network as much as you possibly can.
- Never underestimate the worth of your product or service.
- Negotiate as if your life depends on it.
