What's your business, and who are your customers?
Chosen Scents & Gifts is a family-owned and operated fragrance manufacturer. Specialize in natural body products, candles, and fragrance scents. We carry a huge selection of oil-based fragrances for body sprays, car fresheners, lotions, shower gels, burning oils, essential oils, candles, and much more. We pride ourselves on only producing top-grade fragrances for our customers. Whether it’s retail or wholesale, we guarantee the same level top quality products.
Tell us about yourself
Chosen Scents & Gifts was formed in 2019. Something about good smells always had a place in my heart. I always had a thing for good smells, but it was always a problem with them lasting. I decided to see if I could do scents that actually last because I know it’s a lot of scent lovers like me that share my feelings.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I’ve been featured on @allinbiztv, @VoyageDallas (twice), and a few more. Going from retailer to our own manufacturing. The love and support of our fan base. Is all big accomplishments. Just to be going into the 4th year of this journey and the future looking as bright as it is. Our upcoming plans are one of the biggest.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest part would be the sacrifices and time involved that you have to commit daily. Staying focused when it’s not going easy. Be patient and stay the course, and never get too high or low on yourself.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
First, try to find something you really enjoy doing and love. Second, remember nothing was built overnight. Try to stay focused on the positive and learn from the negative. Understanding listening and keeping an open mind can be one of your best tools. Most importantly, surround yourself with good energy and positive vibes people. Promote and network daily.
