Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Char Savoie, Founder of Charvinity LLC., located in Anoka, MN, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the proprietor of Charvinity LLC, which centers on assisting people on their spiritual journey through services like energy healing, intuitive readings, or connecting to their past loved ones. Also, providing various courses available for personal growth and healing. Including bridging the gap between metaphysical and paranormal to allow expansion of awareness of the afterlife to bring peace and love to those on both sides of the veil.
Additionally, I own Metamorphosis Connections. This is a holistic and metaphysical online directory and community dedicated to reaching our highest consciousness and sharing our unique gifts and talents with all.
Tell us about yourself
To be honest, fear and curiosity are how it started. I was not fully aware I was capable of connecting to spirits. It was about ten years ago, through being introduced to others in this field, that I started learning more. Hoping to find answers and let go of the fear. I never anticipated I would tap into gifts and passions I had no desire to even explore before.
What motivates me to do this work is seeing others find comfort in hearing the messages from the spirit. Plus, learning something about themselves just unlocks a breakthrough moment. Allowing healing to happen. Assisting in connections with a wide variety of practitioners that can help throughout all stages of someone's journey of healing.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Allowing my passion to be bigger than my fear. Starting your own business on something that you have spent your whole life being apprehensive about can be very overwhelming. Truly, I owe so much to all the people I have met throughout this. Their excitement and growth helped me grow as well. I am so honored and grateful to all those that have crossed my path to help push me to keep expanding on my business and passion.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Definitely the balance of work and home life. When you own your own business, it is hard to clock out sometimes. It is not a 9 to 5 occupation. Everything gets created from the ground up. From packaging, websites, creating a space, and even setting up multiple calendars and emails. Especially during the last few years, with so many changes in the world, it was necessary to reinvent and adjust several times. The best part is you are only limited by your imagination and ambition.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a clear vision of where you want to start and research several options of what you are looking for.
- Find people that can help you along the way with the little things. Create a solid support system.
- Never let it go to your head. Both good and bad. There will be rough moments but do not give up. When times are good, be grateful and never let your ego take over.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
One of my favorite quotes that kept me humble and driven was, "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." -Theodore Roosevelt.
Dreams do come true if you believe in them enough.
