What's your business, and who are your customers?

Thrive Coaching & Consulting

Our clients are individuals and organizations that want to develop to their full potential and develop a high-performance leadership experience. We focus on Performance management, Leadership development, People optimization, and developing a strong people-focused culture that produces a high-performing team experience.

We believe that when you focus on these elements, you will create a sustainable business that can scale through the leadership and performance of its people while creating a healthy work environment. It connects to our mission and the legacy we leave through our business and reputation of impact.

Tell us about yourself

My passion for helping businesses create a people-focused culture was my ultimate goal when I started my business back in 2012. Every day, I coach, teach and mentor people to shift from the inside out and help them become the best and highest potential version of themselves. I also help them duplicate this same leadership through their teams and in their lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Scaling my business and being fully virtual prior to covid. I've coached worldwide and have a business that spans Canada and the US with expansion plans into the UK.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Navigating scaling while growing a consistent client base (the coaching and consulting space).

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Focus on your own development. Do the inner work every single day. The reflection of your business will be the reflection of you (your mindset, your people skills, your influence, your ability to move through the harder times).
  2. The pain points that come up are an opportunity for you to learn the skill/mindset needed to get to the next level of growth.
  3. Ask for help and bring in the right support quicker than it feels comfortable.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I'm a single mom of 2, and I've navigated having a healthy co-parenting relationship while building my organization. I'm very proud of this, and it's part of my mission to inspire other women to shift their identities as moms and entrepreneurs.
