What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am Ian from Championship Personal Training. I have been a personal trainer for almost 20 years. I have successfully helped individuals from all walks of life. As a certified Children's Fitness Coach, I work with kids between 7 and 12 years old. I work with professional individuals as well as the young at heart (50+).

Tell us about yourself

I come from a competitive powerlifting background. When I trained in public gyms, I was often asked for advice. I love what I do, and that's helping people improve their quality of life!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Kids haven't had much to smile about the past few years. When I can make a child smile, my day is made!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

There is too much to do and not enough time to do it all. Over the years, I have learned that time can be my worst enemy or my greatest ally.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Go all in! Commit yourself 100% to your brand.
  2. Make a plan weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  3. Never give up! The risk can be great, but so is the reward!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I love what I do! I am extremely fortunate to share my experience and my fitness journey with others. Lessons learned in the gym can be applied to everyday life!
