Tell us about yourself

My philosophy as a personal trainer is to inspire, empower, and challenge my clients with creative workout sessions that prioritize safe and effective exercises to prevent muscle overuse and injury. With over twenty years of professional experience, I am committed to helping my clients achieve and maintain optimal health. I love teaching people the positive effects of exercise, which is why I became a personal trainer in the first place. In addition to land-based personal training, I also have extensive experience teaching aquatics. I am excited to share my knowledge of water-based exercises with new instructors and help them convert these exercises for land-based personal training or cross-training in general.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My most recent biggest accomplishment is to have my business survive and thrive through the COVID-19 Pandemic.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is finding employees that share the same level of passion as I do. So with that, I am working on giving some ownership to them for their dedication and commitment to FFU/CFSN.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

First tip, as a business owner, be passionate about what you do. The money follows. The second tip, you need a team of people to help you and reward them. The third tip, mentor someone who could replace you; you will need them one day to do so.
