A Community and Resources for Freedom Seekers - CEO Sphere

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Alek Angelov, Co-Founder of CEO Sphere, located in London, United Kingdom.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We help coaches and content creators to make an extra $5000+ per month while saving 20+ hours a week of boring work just by posting highly-converting content with our secret formula.

Tell us about yourself

I went to university with $140 and had to work 7 different jobs to be able to afford my education. I worked from cleaning Zara, to gardening, retail, in a nursery home, and cold-calling for donations.

With the last one, I discovered that I am pretty good in sales. I started posting sales and marketing tips online, and soon enough, I had 10,000 followers, then 50,000, and now 100,000+.

Every single one of my audience motivates me to help them achieve financial freedom too. I came from nothing and had to work 7 jobs. I know what it's like for people to have financial stress, and I don't want anyone to suffer from it like I did.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I won the CREA Awards, recognised for innovative impact in business and sustainability, next to names such as Bill Gates, Leonardo Di Caprio, and Richard Branson. We've also helped over 1000+ people to start and monetise a business.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Being consistent in every action and maintaining the focus. We often suffer from shiny object syndrome and keep changing the course of our actions. This leads to disappointments. Therefore, the hardest things are maintaining consistency and having a steady focus.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

My top 3 tips for everyone who wants to start a business is first to START. Many people wait for the perfect moment, and the perfect moment never arrives. Learn on the go, together with fear and stress as your partner. That will shape you.

When you are looking to start, focus on three main things: passion, expertise, and demand. You need all 3 in order to have a sustainable business. Answer these questions:

  • What do I love doing consistently?
  • What am I good at?
  • Is there any demand for it?

This will allow you to find your niche and grow a sustainable business.

Finally, it's all about having a focused action. Choose something that you will do and keep going after it. Stay emotionally impartial for as long as you can. When you win, celebrate fast; when you lose, get up fast. Consistency, patience, and focus.
