Done For You Marketing - Caroline Lewis Consulting

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in marketing but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Caroline Lewis, Owner of Caroline Lewis Consulting, LLC., located in Sandy, UT, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a Done For You Digital Marketing Agency for coaches, consultants, and digital creators.

Tell us about yourself

I am obsessed with my company! I started it three years ago as a 'done with you' type of agency but quickly realized my clients don't want to figure 'things' out themselves, and rather us handle it all. When I say handle it all, I mean writing copy, building landing/sales pages, writing and building out email sequences and newsletters, building their courses, editing videos, running paid ads, etc. I am motivated by their growth, especially by creating more passive income through their online courses and memberships.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I think my biggest accomplishment is hiring an incredible team and growing so much to give them the benefits they deserve! I love creating an amazing work/life balance for myself and my team. While we do a lot for our clients, we are extremely organized, so no one feels like they have to work 24/7 to accomplish projects. It means a lot to me to make sure I can provide a great life for my team.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Managing your team and clients! There is never a boring day, that's for sure :)

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Just start - don't let your friends, family, or bank account stop you from starting. There are things you can do that don't require investment, so do those and get started!
  2. Hire help as soon as you can afford to. Even if you're just looking to make a high income through an online course, you're going to need help either with editing, customer service, emails, etc., so when you can afford help, don't keep putting it off. Creating time freedom from the beginning is important.
  3. Don't feel like you have to be on all the social platforms. Get at least a website page or funnel page that collects names & emails, and promote yourself/your services on one platform that you feel your audience hangs out on the most.
