Tell us about yourself
I am a marketing strategist who combines knowledge and expertise with a deep understanding of operational needs to help socially conscious brands drive revenue and growth.
I have over 20 years of experience in multiple sectors, including e-commerce, retail, tourism, and hospitality. I love supporting companies to uplevel their revenue and marketing goals with a strategic lens rooted in a people and values-first approach.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is creating a values-led organization that supports my team members through all stages and phases of their careers and lives.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Entrepreneurship can be solitary, even when connected with other awesome business owners. At the end of the day, it is still you who hold the responsibility for your business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Create a business plan, and ensure you understand the financials.
- Get really clear about your unique service or product offering.
- Set realistic goals and create systems to support achieving them. Don't plan to grind and hustle because it will end in burnout.
