What's your business, and who are your customers?
Hello, my business is comprised of all-natural, handmade soy candles! My business is created in love and inspired by pain, as beautiful things can be created through pain.
Tell us about yourself
I started conducting candle research as a much-needed distraction when my grandmother was placed in hospice. I was inspired by the expressions of joy that I witnessed as I gifted my handmade candles to my loved ones. I love to make others happy!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is having the opportunity to make children and grandchildren proud!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner for me is not being able to “turn off.” I totally love what I do, so I wake, pray, & make candles!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find a mentor.
- Ask for assistance.
- Outsource if possible.
