What's your business, and who are your customers?
Callie's Candles is a candle company that shares our passion for candles with our customers. We specialize in healthy, clean-burning candles for our customers and the environment. Our candles are clean-burning, vegan, and toxin-free. We are here to help bring a relaxing ambiance to your home or space.
Tell us about yourself
I started Callie's Candles in 2019 as a hobby and small business while out on medical leave. I injured myself while working a second job. I needed to make up for the loss of income, so I started selling candles to family, friends, and colleagues. It took off and started something Amazingly Big!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is opening my candle studio! My candle studio was one of my biggest goals on the list. The studio will allow me more creative space to bring my ideas to light!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is a discipline with time management. Every minute and every hour counts.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Do your research.
- Manage your time effectively.

Starting and maintaining a business, you will have Failures and triumphs. If you don't start, you will never know. Always perfect your craft, keep moving forward and celebrate small wins!
