What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business focuses on personalized shirts for individuals, companies, and families. We also can personalize anything that someone would want!
Tell us about yourself
I am an almost 20-year veteran teacher. In 2017, I asked for all of the equipment to make my own T-shirts for Christmas. When COVID-19 hit our state, they shut the schools down. I needed something to do during the time that I wasn't zooming with my students. I received a lot of support from family and friends. My motivation to keep it going is to hear the praise for the work I have done for someone or the orders I get just because someone saw one of my items.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Stepping out of my comfort zone, which is teaching and doing something I love, is sometimes less stressful.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Staying on track with orders and taxes. The worst part is having to tell a customer no because I don't have the time.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Keep your books updated.
