Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food and beverage but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Cristina Ionescu, founder of Cafe Oro di Napoli, located in Toronto, ON, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our restaurant specializes in authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas. We also offer traditional Italian appetizers, homemade pasta, and gelato.
Tell us about yourself
We got started in this business about twenty years ago. We fell in love with the art of creating Neapolitan-style pizzas, and we've been in love with it ever since.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our biggest accomplishment is the wonderful feedback we receive from our customers on a daily basis. Seeing someone truly enjoy their dining experience and hearing how they can't wait to come back is the most rewarding thing to us.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The ever-increasing cost of supplies and operational costs.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Love what you do, believe in yourself, and work hard.
