What's your business, and who are your customers?
We help purpose-driven entrepreneurs grow their businesses so that they can employ others and give back to their communities. We do this by aligning marketing, sales, and service with a focus on inbound marketing.
Tell us about yourself
My mom had called me and asked for help with ads and a website back in 2011. I fell in love with creating content to help grow the company she worked for and emersed myself in work. Shortly after, I was introduced to HubSpot and retained several certifications from them. I also started working for a small staffing firm and really enjoyed business in general, so I got my MBA. I love doing what I do because it helps others provide for themselves and those they employ.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is being able to grow a company by over 400% within one year.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having others depend on you for their income. It's a lot of responsibility!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be yourself and own it!
- Come from a helping place no matter what.
- Always stay learning.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
As long as you keep putting one foot in front of the other, you will get there. Just be patient with yourself, and give yourself grace.
