What's your business, and who are your customers?

We ignited the hair tie revolution and championed the indispensable accessory as a style statement before it was a trend. Handcrafted by artisans in Colombia to achieve impeccable quality and strive every day to create more sustainability practices to reduce waste on our planet. We are proud to be a woman-owned and run business. Today, we offer an ever-changing handcrafted collection of unique, long-lasting, and elegant pieces you’ll cherish so much they won’t go missing again.

Tell us about yourself

I started the business as a side hustle to increase my monthly income, and it later became my main gig. I love creating, supporting, and building a strong environment for women with something as simple as a bracelet/hair tie that is revolutionary within its category.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As a business owner, my biggest accomplishment has been creating jobs for artisans in my home country, building and teaching young women that surround me to be strong and independent, and creating a well-known, high-quality brand.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Responsibility and dependency. Knowing that so many people rely on us and our ideas is a lot of responsibility and not the easiest.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Fail (trial and error)
  2. Work hard (harder than you can imagine, the grind is worth more than any idea)
  3. Enjoy the journey (every minute)
