What's your business, and who are your customers?

We create and market Aussie-infused seasoning blends in Canada and market them to foodservice clients throughout North America through Sysco, US Foods, and PFG and directly. Restaurants, Universities, and venues have been our clients to date.

Tell us about yourself

I used to love to cook and bake with my mom when I was a little boy. The flavor of the "dish" has been ingrained in me since an early age. Creating easy, executable lasting Flavor bonds for clients is my ultimate goal, so their clients have to come back to their restaurant for that specific flavor.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

In 2005, I managed to get Disney to use our blends. They use them today.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Getting the word out. Marketing and weeding through the ideas is challenging.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be Nimble.
  2. Have a profitable business plan.
  3. Never give up.
