What's your business, and who are your customers?
Bumble Bee Baskets Inc is in the business of experiences and gifts. Our name was chosen for a purpose. We want to provide a service that is beyond expectations leaving trails of smiles and wow factors everywhere we land. Bumblebee's are not supposed to fly, but they do anyways. There are many requests, custom options, and services our customers find they never thought we could provide, and then we do. We exceed expectations and create an experience that changes lives, just like Bumblebee's. We continue to grow with our community, customers, and team. Evolving to provide services that leave all of our customers feeling like they are a VIP. We work closely with many large corporations, business owners, and personal gift-givers. From small to large orders, we work with everyone.
Tell us about yourself
Personally, I love to give gifts! It is something that has always come easy to me and inspired me to make people smile. When you hand-deliver a gift, and you get to see someone's expression, you know, when their eyes get big, that look they get of pure excitement, wow, and 'how did you know. That is one of my favorite experiences to give and receive. That is what motivates me. The experience of gift-giving is our business. We make sure to put all the finishing touches on each gift to ensure the experience is well received by everyone involved. When you love what you do, that's all the motivation you need!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
That is an interesting question I have been asked many times. I honestly could probably tell you many accomplishments, but they would be personal growth that is a direct reflection of being a business owner. I love the game, I am a goal seeker, and I always get back up. I think finding the positive in situations, and instead of asking myself, 'why me?' when things get hard, I switch the thought to 'try me.' So I guess to answer what my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is, I haven't hit it yet, and I hope I never do. I will always want to strive to accomplish more as a woman in business, as a mentor, and personally.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being on 24/7 and having to pivot. That being said, the hard stuff always makes the good stuff that much better!
