Tell us all about your business...
Our business is fitness and community through indoor rock climbing.
What's your background and motivation to grow as a business?
I started this business because I wanted/needed to feel passionate about what I was doing. This work was an expression of my passion. I am inspired when I see the same inspiration created in others through rock climbing.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
To have expanded our brand and geographical footprint.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a solopreneur?
I find that managing different personalities is one of the more challenging aspects of my job. In short, everyone that works for me has redeeming qualities. In turn, they also have traits that can be challenging.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?
Spend your cash reluctantly. Be honest with yourself regarding your strengths and weaknesses. Always prioritize and focus your attention.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Creating a business can be scary but incredibly rewarding.
