What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is online bridge webinars. The customers are bridge students.
Tell us about yourself
I am an international bridge player, author, and teacher. I love the game, I love to talk about the game, and I am a good lecturer. Although I have been teaching bridge for 20 years, online teaching started for me during COVID time.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having many of my bridge students come back to learn year after year.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The responsibility to make a good product from A to Z falls on me. Therefore one must either outsource or learn how to do new things by oneself. I learned a few marketing platforms this way.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Love what you do or stop doing it.
- Do not worry about outsourcing.
- Do not worry about the $; worry about the product.
