What's your business, and who are your customers?

I have a lash studio, and my customers are women between 22 and 50 years of age seeking to highlight their natural beauty. I started my business with one objective: to change the vision of lash extensions.

Tell us about yourself

I was looking for a new profession with a short time of learning and very lucrative; after a lot of searching, I saw an opportunity in lash training. I have always loved the beauty industry, and it was the best way to start this business.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Long story short, I started in the living room of my house. Clients started to come, and after 6 months, I rented the first studio (1 bed). Now, after 3 years, I have my salon with 4 rooms with people working and my academy (brickellashes).

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The pandemic started during the growth of my business, so  I had to stop the work. The clients were driving me crazy. In other words, I had to do everything entrepreneur, mother, and housewife, but and the end, it was worth it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Never give up.
  2. Resistance.
  3. Persistence.
  4. Keep up to date with everything that you learn.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

It won't be easy, you will have a lot of obstacles, do what makes you happy and put passion into everything you do - success is guaranteed.
