What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a video production company that helps organizations save time, build connections, and grow through video. Our customers are marketing directors, CMOs, or organizations looking to take their organization to the next level.
Tell us about yourself
I started actually in my local church doing small slideshows for trips we did. I loved creating the videos, so I started to go in deeper into actually producing videos. What motivates me every day is to hear people say that the videos we made for them helped their organization grow or helped them get their life back. They can now spend time with family, make it to their daughter's dance class, and send their child to that university because of the tools we implemented with video.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is to do what I love every day.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things to do as a business owner is juggling everything that needs to be done. Many times we want to do everything, but we need to delegate. We need to trust other people with the business we started and nurtured.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The three tips I would give is don't do this alone. You are not the Lone Ranger, and you need a community around you to help you.
The second is to make sure you're playing the long game. Too many people want immediate short-term success. If you stick with it long enough and are diligent, you will see the business grow.
The third is don't neglect the ones you love. Growing a business is wonderful and fun. The problem is we can get so focused on it that we don't stay connected to our loved ones. What good are a business and its success if you have no one to share it with?
