Intelligent Money Habits - Brambila Media
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Adrian Brambila, CEO of Brambila Media, located in Austin, TX, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I currently own a digital marketing agency based out of Iowa, a print shop based out of Iowa, a fabrication company based out of Kansas City, and then three internet companies, one of which is my personal brand AdrianBrambila.com, the next is BrambilaMedia.com which is how I make most of my money promoting over 500 different companies as an affiliate, and a company I just launched in 2023 called Affiliateautomation.com which builds and creates blogs for people and monetizes it for them through affiliate marketing. I have +30 employees and a wide range of customers.
Tell us about yourself
I used to be a professional dancer for T-Pain. One day I watched him release a new song on iTunes, and he had multiple millions of downloads in just a few minutes - in other words, I watched him make millions of dollars in minutes. This one moment changed my future. I wanted to be able to 'click a button' and make money which is basically what I do today. I haven't made a million dollars in a minute, but I have been able to make over a million dollars in a single day. I became financially retired by age 32, but I didn't stop making money online and launching endeavors. Making money online is like a game, and in that context, it's currently a fun game I still like playing to this day. Eventually, if I get bored with this game, I will stop. In the meantime, I am motivated each day by the pure joy and wonder of the game of making money online and all the different ways you can do it.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Retiring and hiring my Dad & Mom.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Disconnecting from the internet has been hard. I actually just bought a flip phone to force myself not to browse through social media to burn time since social media is work for me.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Proof the concept of your idea and try to get one sale as fast as you can. Too many people spend WAY too much time in the 'thinking' stage of their idea when what really matters is what other people think of your idea and whether they will buy it. Focus less on making it perfect and more on getting your first sale.
- After you get your first sale and proof of concept, your focus should go to 'now that I have one sale, how many more can I get?' Typically the answer revolves around generating traffic to your offer. There are many ways to drive traffic; the main decision you will have to make if you want to PAY in dollars for your traffic (paid ads) or pay in TIME for your traffic (creating content online like TikToks)
- After you scale your idea, it's time to outsource and automate. Too many people do side hustles and have businesses create them with the idea to escape their 9-5 only to trap themselves in their own business they've created. My business today can run entirely without me - as a matter of fact, I just got back from a two-month travel trip to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Ireland, Northern Ireland & San Diego, and my business not just survived but thrived!
