We are a multi-disciplined, strategic communication and management consultancy.
Tell us about yourself
I am a communicator and storyteller at my core. What really gets me going each day is being able to take complex concepts and issues and make them understandable to the least initiated. As an experienced corporate communicator, that's what I do best.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Our biggest accomplishment to date has been making Inc. Magazine's top 5,000 fastest growing companies in America. Launched just a few short years ago, Boldsquare has made a name for itself by making a difference for our clients and helping them achieve their business objectives through better storytelling and more effective communications, internally and externally. It's what we do.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
For me, it was making the transition to a start-up from being a corporate executive for a well-resourced company. I went from, "Hey, do this for me," to "Hey, I have to do this for myself." There were a lot more do-it-yourself-type moments in those early days.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a realistic business plan to start.
- Be prepared to sell, sell, sell, and not get discouraged.
- Make serving and delighting your customers/clients your top priority, and don't disappoint.
