What's your business, and who are your customers?

I have been dubbed "the tow truck driver" of the sales industry. This is because I help businesses who are "stuck in a ditch" at a certain revenue get back on the road and grow their operation. My customers are businesses that are not content with where they currently are and have the desire to grow their revenues.

Tell us about yourself

I am a sales lifer. I started with front-line sales, moved to sales management, and then was offered the opportunity as a Shareholder in my firm. This gives me the unique perspective of seeing sales from three distinct positions.

Sales is exciting to me. I enjoy the strategy of sales, the strong forged relationships, and finding quality solutions to a Buyer's needs.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Providing value to my clients. They have received a 10x return on investment from my services.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

As a business owner, your business starts and stops with you.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have a "Champion" client (or a group of clients) who will go with you to provide revenue on Day 1.
  2. Go deep into an industry or a segment.
  3. Know what you do well and do it. For areas of your business that you struggle with, contract them out.
