What's your business, and who are your customers?

Blair + Jack is a simple and effective skincare line for men. Each of the products is carefully formulated to deliver results while being gentle on the skin. Blair + Jack caters to men who want to adopt a skincare routine or men with specific skin issues.

Tell us about yourself

I am a Plastic Surgeon by day. My husband asked me for help with bumps on his neck and scalp after shaving; that is how the idea for a skincare line for men started. We named it Blair + Jack after our twins because they bring us joy, and this is a legacy project.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been the positive feedback that we have been receiving from men who use Blair + Jack products. This is exactly why I created the brand, and the wonderful reviews motivate me to keep listening to what men want.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing about being a business owner is that when you first start, you wear all the hats. Every decision falls on you, and that can be stressful.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Surround yourself with positive people who push you to be the best version of yourself.
  2. Keep going....there will be ups and downs, but just keep going. All of the hard work you're doing will build a solid foundation for your business.
  3. Trust your instincts, say yes to opportunities that align with your principles, and remember that not every opportunity is for you.
