What's your business, and who are your customers?
BHuman is a technology company creating personalized videos that are indistinguishable from recorded videos. We do so using our groundbreaking artificial intelligence, created by our team of PhDs and researchers. The applications for what we do can be found in industries from politics to marketing and sales to education and hospitality; however, the core of our value add is human relationships at scale. We enable 1-to-1 conversations at an infinity-to-1 level.
Tell us about yourself
At 19, I dropped out of university, realizing I would always want to work for myself. The quicker I throw myself into the wilderness and "figure it out," the more of my life I'd have to enjoy. So, I dropped out, much to my parent's dismay. There I found myself in Milan, needing to support myself and my girlfriend with very little income to show for it. But I put in the work and survived off about a euro a day (one can of chickpeas, a baguette, and coffee!). I tried various businesses until, one day, something clicked. That was my lead generation agency, which I worked to scale; however, I ran into many issues as the industry became more saturated and competitive. I realized human connections were the single thing we were all after and started to play with video. That's when I asked, "how can technology make personalized videos at a scale that looks real?". And thus, BHuman was born.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Securing our pre-seed investment.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Managing and balancing the degree of emotional attachment you have to your business and its outcomes.
