What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is capturing moments in time..photography. My clients are individuals or families that want to have tangible memories that can last forever.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Bre Walker, I'm a very nostalgic person, and I can remember when I was younger, I would literally walk around with a camera with me at all times, even when if it didn't have a film in it or not. I always knew I wanted to do something with a camera. So finally, as I got older, I realized that I could help others do something as simple as take a photo that someone could have of their loved ones in their homes.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is that my clients are happy and continue to have me as their photographer for the years to come.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
It's kind of sad, but there are very few people that will help others in the photography business. But once you find someone or a group of people that are here for you to win and to help you get to the top of the mountain, everyone wins!!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find your true people, people that are there to lift you up, and you can lift them up as well.
- Start now!! Don't wait on that one thing; if you want to do something that you are passionate about, do it now!
- It ain't easy; if you're passionate about what you're doing, you are going to hit a couple of obstacles, but you have to keep going so you can get to your finish line.
