What's your business, and who are your customers?
I produce video courses and give live webinars on personal development, productivity, and biohacking. I help entrepreneurs and executives to achieve their true goals. It is rare that only money is the true goal - and a lot of precious lifetimes are wasted chasing money.
Tell us about yourself
Freedom is my highest value. So right from the start, I wanted to build up a business that would work without me. I never lost sight of this goal. Because if I have the duty to work every day, I can also be employed - that's more comfortable and safer. A lot of work is good. But having to work a lot is not good.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Over 60,000 happy customers with an overall ranking of 4.5/5 stars and products which make a real difference in the lives of my customers.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Definitely losing focus. The more interesting people you meet, the more important selection is. There are great opportunities that do nothing for your true goals. So always ask yourself what you really want because every "yes" is a "no" to all other things.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Just one tip, but it's even more important. Define why you want to start. And don't forget that on the way. So many entrepreneurs work 80 hours a week so that they don't have to work 40 hours as employees.
Entrepreneurship is a journey to a goal, not the goal itself. Do you want to motorbike through Australia, learn kickboxing in Thailand or just have more time for your loved ones?
These goals are not expensive when you define them clearly - your company should facilitate your goals and belong to you. Make sure you don't belong to your company.
