What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a servant-leadership, private (not a franchise or corporate office) specializing in relationship-based financial planning. Both members are Certified Financial Planners as well and Licensed Fiduciaries. Our goal is to address your matters of importance and provide our knowledge, innovation, and trusted relationship such that each private client realizes their dreams.

Tell us about yourself

First began in the financial services industry as a student intern in 1983. After working at both agencies and corporate offices, I decided to move to my own business in 1999.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We have developed a tactical allocation program to adjust the portfolios of our relationships in the same manner we care for our own funds or those of our family. As a result, we have been able to reduce the downside risk during market declines which have allowed for a faster recovery or portfolio growth.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Navigating compliance and regulatory concerns.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be capitalized correctly. Your plan will only work until you meet the real world.
  2. Pay your taxes first and yourself last.
  3. Price is only a concern with the lack of quality.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

The relationship is what we feel makes our firm a success. You can get our product anywhere, but the relationship allows us to serve what you really want.
