What's your business, and who are your customers?

It is an environment and energy that encourages the elevation and empowerment of their personal and professional skills. You learn how to PUT YOU FIRST!
Tell us about yourself
WHO am I? My name is Josette Holness, aka Ms. Jai, and I am a D.R.I.P Queen (Driven/Resilient/Innovative/Progressive) focused on developing women's performance and progression. I am a certified life, career, and business coach for over 20 years, and I never get tired of launching lives and businesses into the sky.
Coaching takes a lot of energy, and so does being a wife of 18 years, a mother of 2 phenomenal young men, a full-time career spanning 30 years, and owning and operating two businesses. One day I looked in the mirror and couldn't see me, couldn't remember what fueled my growth and success; I could no longer define WHO I was, just WHAT I did. I realized that I had stopped developing and nurturing the skills that my foundation was built on. So I started on a 365-day ME First journey of RECLAIM to identify the traits, characteristics, and personality that fueled my success. As I moved through my journey, I realized that I was not the only one, and so I created the Beautiful Women Society because I wanted a place where women, such as myself, could tap into their growth and level up continuously without losing themselves in the process.
I love waking up every day to help a fellow Superhero strengthen her identity, to empower, educate, and elevate because the outcomes are limitless.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment as a business owner is seeing the joy surface when a woman has her "AHA" moment and starts to live their purpose, whether it be in life, business, finance, relationships, parenting, or more. Being able to provide an environment and the energy for women to flourish is undeniably my favorite part of my business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Consistency can be a real challenge for business owners because your energy is split in so many ways, and, for the most part, business owners forget to nurture their creativity and innovation, which is what launched it in the first place. So it is important to pour into oneself daily, sustaining a regimen that feeds your mind, body, and soul to master the skill of consistency, as the habits that you form in life are usually the habits that carry over into your business, so put yourself first!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know yourself! Check your levels when it comes to consistency; if you can't do it for yourself, then you can't do it for anyone else.
- Plan, plan, plan, then plan some more. Establish your mission, values, philosophies, and goals, for it is the foundation of which your business will take flight and start flying.
- Get a business coach! Building a business is like fixing a car; if you don't have the knowledge, then don't tinker under the hood, LOL.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Believing in oneself is a skill. Building your self-worth, knowledge, and capacity is a lifetime goal that reaps unlimited rewards of abundance and happiness. Be patient and trust the process; it takes work and effort to show up and show out, but it's worth the flight!
