What's your business, and who are your customers?
Bauer's Brew is a Specialty Coffee & Craft Cold Brew brand on a mission to help people drink better coffee. It's our philosophy that coffee is an art, not a commodity. We're a quality-obsessed brand that strives to craft products that give meaning to the 'special' in Specialty Coffee. From bean to brew, we take no shortcuts. Our customers are those who want to change their coffee consumption from mediocre to extraordinary.
Tell us about yourself
When COVID took over the world (and our cafes), i started making coffee much more at home. Long story short, I fell in love and became obsessed with the industry. Especially the niche sector of specialty coffee. What motivates me every day is watching my brand grow. There is no better feeling in the world than creating something that's loved and appreciated by others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
What has always been a goal and dream of mine is to love what I do and to be my own boss. I never wanted to work a 9-5 at some job I hate and have no interest in. My biggest accomplishment is growing my brand to the point where I genuinely can't wait to get to work.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The amount of time, work, and dedication. It is hard, but it is also worth it.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals or things you'd like to get done. Creating a list of things you'd like to get done for the day and week - and eventually crossing them out is so rewarding.
- Manage your time well - 24 hours is not enough time in the day. So this goes back to #1; by creating goals and lists, you'll be more efficient.
- Don't be afraid to ask for help, especially from free resources and local organizations.
