What's your business, and who are your customers?

BankBound is a digital marketing agency that specializes in the financial services industry.

Tell us about yourself

I've previously worked in banking and then also in digital marketing. I'm passionate about supporting strong local businesses, so partnering with local financial institutions became a natural fit. Local banks remain an essential part of the local communities they serve, so I'm motivated each day to support local communities around the country by way of the local banks we are partnering with on digital marketing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I especially enjoy how digital marketing can change the culture within an established local bank. Since digital is so measurable, we're empowering local banks and their marketing teams to invest more effectively in channels that will allow them to sustain growth.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Sometimes I forget that our organization can't realistically help everyone. We can't do it all, and so we sometimes have to pick and choose who we work with and which projects we take on, regardless of how eager we might be to help.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
