What's your business, and who are your customers?
Ball of Fire Coaching partners with high potential and emerging corporate and entrepreneurial professionals to transform them into powerhouse leaders, so they create riches in their work and life.
Tell us about yourself
I am known for being a ball of fire in everything that I do, from being a best friend to those closest to me to being an avid pickleball player, and an open book in sharing my personal story of shedding the corporate bitch I once was, which is also the name of my first book. My personal story and the lessons I've learned since have been the foundation of all of my work over the last 14 years and have provided me with such great joy in helping others to transform their lives as well.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Building a successful and expansive business over the last 14 years, encompassing not only my coaching, training, and speaking practice but also the media and entertainment arm of my business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I come from twenty-five years of having the stability, security, and foundation of corporate infrastructure, including people, processes, and tools. Being on your own strips all of that away, and you are fully self-reliant until at least you build a team and infrastructure yourself.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Spend time every day working on your own personal growth. Learning who you are, what you want, what you don't want, and why.
- Be okay with going against the grain of what others want from you, what they tell you, and how they think you should do things.
- Be fully open to change, shift, and transform in every aspect of your business and life. As you change, your business and what you want from your business will. Don't stay glued to your original plans.
